Competition History

At her firs outing at Strathalbyn on Sept 18th Bella won both the 1.1 and 1.4 tests with scores up to 71%.
The next day she went to Strath Equestrian Extravaganza and won the walk trot test and the 1.2 plus the lightweight Hack class.

Bella's next outing was Combined training at Aldinga and she won again with a good dressage and one rail showjumping in her first ever showjumping round.

Since then we have been to the beach and forest and been working on her jumping. At her first x-c training day she proved to be careful rideable and very obliging. Even the water proved not to be not a problem for her.

Bella will mature around 16.1 h and will make a super Young Rider Eventer. She is bred for the job and has had the training to get there.
Bella started the 2005 Eventing Season on a good note by winning a section of the the Adelaide Hills Dressage Club Combined Training on her 75% dressage score.

Her first Eventing start was at Yerringburg Horse Trials in Victoria. She was great warming up for the dressage in a thunder storm and producing the winning dressage score of 25 penalties(83.3%). She jumped a careful clear showjumping and jumped clear cross country with 14 time to finish in 2nd place.
Her next start was at Kircaldy Park Horse Trials in SA in the huge Intro class. She was first to go producing another good test (75%) to finish dressage in second place. She jumped another great showjumping round and was fantastic crosscountry - bold but careful and under time this time to finish first of the 46 competitors.

At Grand Cru Bella ran 8th of the 51 competitors once again doing a lovely 75% dressage test, jumping clear both cross country and showjumping but picking up 14 time penalties. The ground conditions were less than ideal with very hard rocky going so a safe canter around was the order of the day!
'Bella' had another good event at Reynella Horse Trials with a 69% test and again clear cross country and showjumping. She is very careful with a big jump but quite bold over banks ditches water etc. She is developing into a very good ride!

Double clear at her first Prelim Start.
Bella had her first Prelim start at Kircaldy Park 28th May. She did a good dressage test to be in the top 5 in a large class. Cross country posed no problems for her for a great clear both jumping and time and a super clear showjumping saw her finish in 4th place behind her winning stable mate 'Chances Tristram'
